T-Pain Sues Young Money For $500,000

T-Pain has collaborated with many Young Money artists in the past, but things have turned sour as the autotune godfather is now suing the label for unpaid royalties.

TMZ reports that T-Pain was never paid for the contributions he made to Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III project which has now gone triple platinum since its release in 2008. Furthermore, his artist Young Fyre never received compensation for his additions to Tha Carter IV, and now they are collectively suing Young Money for $500,000.

T-Pain took to Twitter last night to clarify that he was not suing Lil Wayne specifically with the statement: “🤦🏿‍♂️ I’m obviously not suing my brother guys. Come on now. The story wouldn’t be juicy enough if they said Who I’m really suing because nobody knows that person so obviously they picked Wayne🤦🏿‍♂️.”

Check back for more information as it becomes available.
